What is the treatment?
Teeth whitening changes the natural color of the tooth, usually between five to seven shades whiter. Both the bleaching that is done in the office by the professional and the one done at home using a bucket use a bleaching compound. Bleaches contain an active ingredient, usually carbamide peroxide or hydrogen peroxide in concentrations of 10-22%, that help remove superficial or deep spots.
How is it performed?
A higher concentration of the bleaching component is used in the clinic in addition to using a gum protector, a cold LED light that activates the bleaching component and obviously, the person who will perform the treatment is a specialized professional.
