MAXILLARY SINUS LIFT
What is the treatment?
Maxillary sinus elevation is a surgical technique that is performed for treatment with osseointegrated implants of the posterior maxilla when there is no good bone availability.
How is it performed?
Local anesthesia is applied in the area to be intervened, a lateral incision is made that extends linearly and a maxillary sinus access window is created, the sinus membrane is raised to be able to get the space necessary to add the artificial bone , the cavity is filled with an artificial bone, after this the gum is closed and the implants are placed.
