FIXED ACRYLIC PROSTHESIS ON IMPLANTS (4 IMPLANTS)
What is the treatment?
The purpose of these prostheses is basically to replace the missing teeth of a patient so that no new problems or oral complications arise.
These prostheses are recommended in those people who want to give a permanent and definitive solution to their lack of natural teeth; therefore, they are usually more required by elderly patients, who have lost teeth over time.
How is it performed?
Once the conditions for placement (bone availability) are evaluated, the surgery itself is simple, similar to the removal of a tooth and does not require further care except for minor dental surgery.
For the implant to be firmly fixed in the mouth, a period of 4 to 6 months must pass (osseointegration).
Subsequently the dental prosthesis is made. Generally, in case of doing rehabilitation on dental implants, first some attachments and connectors, then proceed to perform the prosthesis in a conventional way.
