What is the treatment?
Deep cleaning consists of a treatment with local anesthesia that “sleeps” the gum and allows cleaning the “periodontal pockets”, a space between the gum and the tooth where tartar and the bacteria causing periodontitis accumulate.
How is it performed?
After anesthetizing the gum, we proceed to clean the bags using different types of hand instruments and ultrasonic devices that separate the scale from the root and smooth the surface of the tooth to make it smooth and clean. Deep cleaning is not painful and after treatment you can lead a normal life.
